How do you make people rethink their shower habits without pointing fingers?

For "Leven met Water", the answer came in the form of the Douchebag: a shower enthusiast who completely loses themself in an endless bathroom performance. What starts as a quick rinse quickly turns into a full concert, dance routine, and shampoo-fueled spectacle.

We translated the campaign concept into a stylized 3D world centered around character performance. Strong silhouettes, simple shapes, and expressive animation allowed the personality to take center stage, while the bathroom environment was reduced to its essentials.

The project also showcases our hybrid production approach. While the character, environment, animation and lighting were created in 3D, we used AI-enhanced imagery as part of the finishing process.

Shower foam is notoriously difficult to art direct in CG, especially when it needs to feel playful and graphic rather than physically accurate. By enhancing temporary foam simulations and integrating the results back into the compositing pipeline, we were able to create richer, more appealing foam shapes while retaining full control over the final image.
