Aldi Emoji Sport is a compact burst of character animation: graphic emoji faces, athletic timing, and a playful campaign rhythm built to read instantly on screen.
The project turns simple emoji language into energetic sports characters. Each expression has to land fast, so the animation leans into readable silhouettes, snappy poses, and clear comedic timing.
The charm sits in the contrast between a very graphic idea and a surprisingly physical performance. The characters feel like quick symbols at first glance, but they move with enough attitude to carry a full campaign beat.
For a brand film like this, the animation has to feel light, bright, and direct. The visual language stays simple on purpose: bold shapes, expressive faces, sport-driven momentum, and a rhythm that keeps the gag readable from the first frame.
